Decision Framework

What a project team should evaluate

01

Size the facility, not just IT load

Cooling, pumps, controls and balance-of-plant loads belong in the power requirement.

02

Choose the grid relationship

Onsite power can be primary, bridge, islandable or hybrid; each changes controls, protection and commercial assumptions.

03

Design maintenance into capacity

Nameplate MW is not enough. Planned maintenance and component failures must be reflected in the architecture.

04

Evaluate fuel resilience

Pipeline capacity, delivered-fuel options and fuel interruption scenarios should be part of diligence.

05

Integrate power with cooling and water

Electrical and thermal infrastructure should be evaluated together for high-density campuses.

Bring GTG the site, load and target date.

We use MW requirement, water demand, utility status, resiliency requirements and project schedule to frame a project-specific infrastructure conversation.
