FLUX Home: primary power, not backup
FLUX Home is a compact solid oxide fuel cell that runs continuously on the natural gas already piped to a property, generating a subscriber's primary electricity supply on site — independent of the electric grid. The grid stays connected as a backstop; it's no longer the primary source. That's a different design goal than a standby generator, which sits idle until the grid fails. FLUX Home is meant to be the day-to-day power source, dispatched and monitored by the utility.
- Noise: under 45 dBA at 10 feet — quiet enough to site close to a home without becoming a nuisance.

FLUX Ember: containerized power that moves with the mission
FLUX Ember packages generation, battery storage, controls and thermal-energy recovery into a single transportable 20-foot container, designed to establish resilient on-site power at temporary or infrastructure-constrained locations — disaster response, recovery operations, temporary medical facilities and mission command posts among them.
- Output: 15 kVA continuous, 27 kVA peak, with up to 288 kWh of energy available per day and 12.6 kW-th of useful heat recovered for space heating or hot water.
- Noise: under 50 dBA at 3 feet — a meaningful difference from a diesel genset running next to a hospital tent or temporary housing.
- Fuel flexibility: runs on natural gas, CNG, PNG, bio-CNG or methane, with fuel tank options from 120 to 1,000 gallons.
- Runtime: scales directly with tank size — about 4.5 days on a 120-gallon tank up to roughly 29 days on a 1,000-gallon tank, all without a grid tie or a fuel truck inside the deployment window.
Because generation, storage and thermal recovery all ship in one container, FLUX Ember sites and connects at the point of need, runs continuously, and relocates as the mission moves — rather than requiring separate equipment trailers to be assembled on site.
