The FLUX Home First Nation Access Program sizes a single technology to either situation: full off-grid independence where the grid doesn't reach, or continuous on-site generation that relieves pressure where it does.
Two different problems, one system
Where grid service already exists, Flux Home is deployed as a subscriber's primary power source, taking continuous household or facility demand off an electric utility whose lines and capacity on tribal lands are often limited, aging, or difficult to reinforce. Where grid service doesn't reach at all, Flux Home runs on delivered or piped natural gas as a true off-grid prime power plant for homes, chapter houses, schools and clinics — not a backup generator waiting on an outage, but the primary electricity supply from day one.
